Game 1 -brief description

I'll put here a short description of the game and in the following posts we can work on single aspects that can be hard or problematic.
Put your notes, suggestion, doubts, anything, in the comments.

Description
A game for children aged 5-7.
[ALTERNATIVE: for kids 7-10]

A maze seen from above (a camera projecting on a table).

In the simplest form the player only needs to get out as quick as possible.

Time constraint.

PLAYERS
For the moment one player (maybe one at a time comparing timings and/or score?)

SIZE
We need to save some space of the screen for:
-external commands
-for the score
-for the time.

MAIN GOAL
What's the main goal? (exiting the maze in a short time? scoring points?)

Hi everyone,
1. DESCRIPTION
A maze seen from above (a camera projecting on a table).:
I think our major challenge here would be with the camera being able to read the symbols on the fiducials at that distance (proximity). We need to be sure (perhaps test it in the next class) that the camera can read the symbols from that distance. If not, can the distance (proximity) be adjusted/corrected/replaced (E.g. Moving the camera/projector lower)? Or do we think of something else entirely?

2. PLAYERS
For the moment one player (maybe one at a time comparing timings and/or score? Or maybe two players on a shared screen. It's likely that if we can create one screen successfully, creating the other shouldn't be difficult [simply copy & paste.. lol]. The issues might just only be a matter of sharing the screen, and record-keeping.0

3. SIZE
I think you're right. We do need to keep some space for external commands/controls, score and time.

4. MAIN GOAL
What's the main goal? (exiting the maze in a short time? scoring points? Maybe also beat the other competitor to the end [ONLY IF THERE ARE TWO PLAYERS ON A SCREEN!].. Because I'm imagining that one person getting to the end of the game first should automatically end the game/level for both of them, and have their scores recorded.)
