Kanye West hasn’t had a lot of luck recently. As well as bumping his head into a stop sign the other day while walking to a restaurant with pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian, his swish Lamborghini has got into a bit of a pickle.
Kanye wasn’t actually driving the car (kar?) - it was being returned to him after being serviced by mechanics – but the driver must have been in for a shock.
Not only was he (or she) driving Kanye’s car, but as they drove the sleek black motor, worth $750,000, into Kim’s Los Angeles driveway, the electric gates to the Kardashian compound (kompound?) started to close in!
An onlooker told TMZ.com said: “The driver pulled into the gate but didn't make it all the way in before the gate closed on both sides of the car.”
According to the website, someone from a repair shop has sent someone over to wor out how much it’ll cost to repair. Yikes!
On the bright side, Kanye’s upcoming sixth album is meant to be a blinder, with a collaborator saying that the record sounds like something from the very distant future. Travi$ Scott (no relation of Ke$ha) told MTV News: “That s*** is like net-level 3000. We’re already in the year 3000 with that s***.”
Kanye previewed a track, I’m God – humble, isn’t he – at the Met Gala last week. Gwyneth Paltrow said that his performance was “all drama”, and that “he was all furious and he threw his microphone down.”
Which leads us to believe that it was probably really great.
