As Justin Bieber found out from his time in London, people do NOT like standing about waiting for the concert they’ve paid to see, to start. Especially if they’ve already been waiting for two months.
That’s right: Rihanna “pulled a Bieber” by making her fans in Boston wait three hours for her performance – and they weren’t happy. Fans started tweeting things like “mad as hell” and booed her when she finally got onstage.
Oh, and this concert was rescheduled from March, because Rihanna got ill back then and had to cancel. AND her support act A$AP Rocky wasn’t there on the night either. So that’s three hours of standing around for Rihanna’s fans, who tweeted that they suspected she was watching the basketball instead of performing.
Maybe she was having a little cry backstage because she’s split up with Chris Brown (AGAIN) and he confirmed it on the radio, blaming her tour and then going partying with his ex girlfriend, Karruche Tran?
Despite actually getting booed, Rihanna seemed pretty oblivious to the whole issue, tweeting: “I will never forget this night!!! I truly have deeper love for you now!!! Thank you for making it extra special!!”
