It seems that it’s not just been us breaking down in tears over the news that JLS were – gulp – splitting up!
Yes, poor old Oritsé Williams found himself getting all emotional during an interview on Alan Carr’stalk show, Chatty Man, when talking about the break up and found himself being comforted byMarvin Humes.
At least their was plenty of plonk and nibbles for take his mind off the sorrow.
Farewell…
The 26-year-old appeared extremely upset when the host broached the subject, with fellow singer, JB explaining: “It’s Ortise’s baby effectively, you know. He brought us together.”
Marv then joined in, revealing how the boys hadn’t taken the decision, to break, lightly.
“It’s an emotional decision. We’re best friends, we’re brothers, the bond between us is indescribable.
“We’ve been through so much since we first came together and no one would have dreamed what we achieved could be possible, and of course for it to all end was a massively emotional decision, and it wasn’t one that was taken lightly.”
The dad-to-be continued to explain how they felt that the timing was right and that they wanted to go out on a career high.
“We’ve had an incredible career for five years and we want to see it as a celebration that we’ve achieved so much. We wanted to go out on top and not be that act where people are like, ‘Oh bloody hell, it’s JLS again’.
“We wanted to bow out at the top, and I think that we’ve got a massive tour at the end of the year, and we wanted to do that; remain friends, finish at the top and go out with a bang really.”
You can catch the whole interview with Alan and the boys, on Chatty Man, this Friday, 26 April at 10pm.
