Friends Reunion NOT in the Works, Creator States

Sorry, television fans.

But your favorite Friends will not be there for you ever again on the small screen.

Responding to a rumor that cropped up on the Internet yesterday for some reason, co-creator Marta Kauffman tells E! News that Monica, Chandler and company have said their final goodbyes.

"I'm going to clear this up - it's not happening!" Kauffman said of talk that NBC may bring the sitcom back for one more season.

Okay. But what about a Friends movie?!? Nope. The former executive producer doesn't see how that would work, saying:

"Friends was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there's no need anymore."

And fans should really be grateful, too. Have you seen the Sex and the City movies?!?
