Sony’s targeting the WUB-WUB youth with its latest set of headphones, which offer bass-heavy sound coupled and a premium, aluminium design. And a flat cable to make the depressing chore of untangling a thing of the past.
These new MDR-XB910 headphones are pretty much identical to the X10 units released as baffling X Factor branded devices in the US, with the same powerful 50mm driver and 106db sensitivity that went down rather well with sound buffs. They’ll go down even better without the stupid X Factor logo on.
Sony says this European variant should hit the UK in March, for an unofficial RRP of around £150
