Cheaper iPhone to have 4.5-inch screen.

It’s not the first time we’re heard about the rumoured “cheap” iPhone 5S, but fresh information  has come through relating to Apple’s new cut-price blower.
A Japanese blog is reporting that the phone will have a 4.5-inch screen – which is bigger than the iPhone 5’s – and will be made out of plastic rather than metal. This is clearly to keep to the cost down – another rumour states that the retail price will be $330, which is about £215.
The blog in question hasn’t cited any reliable sources so it’s probably best to keep an open mind about these reports, but it’s clear that Apple is working on a low-cost iPhone. The top-end of the smartphone market is become crowded, and there’s money to be made by offering cheaper alternatives to consumers who don’t want to sell a kidney to get a mobile telephone.
Have you held off on buying an iPhone in the hope of a cheaper variant? Or have you already invested in a budget Android or Windows Phone? Leave us a comment to let us know.
