All the must play games and news from GDC 2013

Game Developers Conference 2013 has been going down in San Francisco all week, and while the show is meant for developers and industry insiders, it also plays hosts to lots of incredible new game announcements, from big publishers to indie start-ups. Want to know just what happened this time round? Read on, find out and check the trailer right here.
Battlefield 4 unleashed
Move over, Call of Duty: EA is coming back with another gritty first person shooter, and it looks absolutely jawdropping.
Metal Gear Solid 5 is coming
Oh yes. It’s here. After years of teasing, Hideo Kojima took to the stage atGDC (inexplicably wrapped in bandages) to announce the next game in the hit stealth series that started it all. An epic trailer followed, which shows Snake waking up from a coma after nine years, then getting straight back into the swing of things with FOX. Metal Gear Solid 4 raised the bar for next-gen games at the start of the PS3’s life, and we’re hoping the sequel can do the same now.
Micro consoles ready for launch

A whole new breed of tiny, budget consoles is just around the corner.Ouya, the little Android games machine, is nearing release to Kickstarters, and to whip up some excitement, the team released their own 3D printing designs to the community, so anyone with access to a 3D printer can whip up their own custom case. PlayJam meanwhile, the team behind theGameStick Android console, were on hand at the show to announceXBMC support, so i’ll double up as a budget smart TV box, and show off some the first games for the platform, including Bionfly, a funky looking retro style 8-bit platformer. We can’t wait.
