Has Beyoncé banned press photographers from her tour to prevent any more unflattering pictures of her?

There will be no access for snappers and we'll only see pre-approved images. Sounds like someone still isn't happy about those Super Bowl gurns...

It's like a de-tagging photos of yourself on Facebook, but on a global level.
Beyoncé has banned press photographers from her Mrs Carter Show World Tour in an apparent effort to prevent any more unflattering pictures of herself being widely circulated.
Mrs Carter's UK publicist has confirmed that no access is to be granted to snappers for her concerts, and instead Bey's hired her own snapper, Frank Micelotta, to capture her in action.
He must know her best angles. And maybe he's got some lovely extra lights to make her look all Photoshopped too - that's a little trick Simon Cowell uses on BGT, remember?
Fstoppers.com reveals that  Beyoncé's company Parkwood Entertainment is only giving out three to five pre-approved images shot to media after a show.

This ban on photographers comes after it was widely reported back in February that the singer's publicist had asked agencies and websites to remove 'unflattering' photos of Beyoncé during her performance at the Super Bowl.
The publicist apparently wrote to one website "Respectfully asking" them to "change" their article.
"I am certain you will be able to find some better photos," she apparently wrote.
But just like when you're told not do something it makes you want to do it 1000 times more, trying to remove the unflattering' pics just made us all much, much more interested in them.
Let's not be ridiculous - the Crazy in Love singer is one of the most beautiful women in the world (well she was, until Gwyneth Paltrow officially knocked her off her top spot in a poll). This is universally agreed upon.
And this is precisely why there's nothing wrong with a few comedy pictures of Bey pulling faces doing the rounds, because we're all well aware that the rest of the time she's totally hot - as she showed modelling a new range of clothing for H&M recently.

And many think the ban will just make the situation worse.
"They thought by not letting photographers in, they will have full control over the photos shown in the media," F-Stoppers blogger Noam Galai writes. "Huge mistake. Now not only is the mainstream media showing unflattering photos of her, they are showing bad-quality unflattering photos of her."
"Banning professional photographers from all shows is simply stupid. Beyoncé needs to use the media to her advantage, not fight it. Playing games with the media will cause more harm than good."
A couple of gurny shots makes Queen Bey seem more human and relatable, and even more loveable as a result.
We don't want some carefully stage-managed popstar living her life like one long perfume advert - we actually like being reminded that our stars are real and can look like an idiot from time to time.
So Bey - try laughing off the gurny pics. And do more weirdly normal things like shopping in Mothercare in Newbury with baby Blue. It makes us want to buy your songs even more.
